An impressive Bath Stone fronted building; the George & Pilgrim is the oldest purpose built public house in the South West of England. On entering the building you immediately take a step back in time. The George & Pilgrim boasts majestic mullion windows, flagstone flooring, antique wooden furnishings and an array of cosy rooms.

Approached from the spiral staircase the high ceiling Chalice Suite is available for civil ceremonies for up to 60 and wedding receptions for up to 80 guests buffet style. For smaller parties the suite can be divided with white panelled wooden doors.

All the 14 ensuite refurbished bedrooms are accessed via a flag stoned spiral staircase with the Bride and Groom accommodated in the ancient Henry VIII Four Poster bedroom.
